In 2000 the board of directors decided to set up Island Holdings Limited and Island Financial Services Limited, followed by Island Insurance Management Services Limited in 2007. In 2008 the Group ventured into the Information Technology industry and set up along with third parties a software development company called Island Software Solutions Limited.

The Group is now made up of five distinct companies:

2. Island Insurance Brokers Limited, an insurance broker registered with MFSA under the Insurance Intermediaries Act, 2006,
